Homebound Delivery Service

Homebound? Or know someone who is? OWL is now offering a free, contactless, homebound delivery service.

To Qualify:

Our contactless Homebound Delivery Service is designed to respond to those who wish to borrow materials from the library but are unable to independently do so. Whether housebound by infirmities, illness, COVID concerns or a simple lack of transportation, this service is available to you either temporarily or long-term.

To qualify, you must live in Litchfield and meet our homebound requirement. This service is free.

About Deliveries:

Deliveries are made every other week on Tuesdays. You can either provide us with a specific list of titles you wish to receive or have us make selections for you. We are happy to do either or a combination of both!

This is a contactless service. Our volunteers will only be leaving materials for you and will not be able to provide other services to you.

Selection of Materials:

If you have specific titles, you must request them no later than 3:00 PM on the Monday before delivery. You have three options to do this:

  1. Place the request directly into our library catalog (excellent option)
  2. Email the list to: [email protected] (excellent option)
  3. Call us at: 860-567-8030 (acceptable, but not preferred)

To Participate:

To participate, you will need to fill out the form below. Submit the form online.
