Opportunities for Giving
The Oliver Wolcott Library is supported by the Town of Litchfield which provides about 50% of the annual budget. Additional support- and the ability to provide excellent service- comes from the generosity of donors. Help support your library today with a secure site donation using one of the links below or by printing and mailing a donation form
The Annual Appeal supports the Library by providing the programs, materials, and services that keep the Library at the center of the community’s intellectual life. Gifts at all levels are welcome. Your generous contribution can help support books, online subscription-based tools, children’s and adult programs, new technology and more.
Annual giving may be made by credit card, cash, or check. For securities donations, contact Ann Marie White at 860-567-8030 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Planned Giving & Endowment Fund
The Oliver Wolcott Society recognizes individuals who support the Library by including it in their estate plans. Over the years, generous annual contributions and planned gifts, including outright bequests, have helped the Library provide excellence in library services. Today, earnings from planned gifts pay for a large portion of the Library’s annual budget. The Library’s Finance Committee has established rigorous investment and spending policies. These policies insure that planned gift not only support the Library’s services now, but also grow over time to finance library activities into the future.
