About OWL

One of our core values is to, “select, initiate, and promote materials, programs, and services that enlighten, entertain, and inform.”

As a result, we not only select a variety of books for all ages and interests, we also offer suggestions for reading, access to e-learning tools that provide additional suggestions for readings, two monthly library-sponsored book discussion groups, special library-sponsored book discussion programs, monthly author events, other regular literary programs, and assistance for personal book discussion groups.

Reader’s Advisory E-Learning: We’ve selected some of the best e-learning tools to help you find the next book to read, learn more about an author, and help find discussion questions for your book group.

Library Book Discussion Groups: We have two monthly book discussion groups. All are welcome to attend. Join us for stimulating conversation and rewarding new friendship. For the list of selections, click on the bar above.

Author Events, Special Book Discussion Groups & Other Literary Events: We offer regular literary events including monthly author events. See our Adult Events page for all the details.

Personal Book Club Services: Do you have your own book group? We can help! We are happy to secure 10 copies of one title each month for free for your book group. Click here to fill out our form to get started, or contact Cameron Bove at cbove@owlibrary.org, or stop in and ask us!
